Join this event with Age UK Barnet and Dr Catherine Loveday to understand memory loss. This session is designed to support professional and informal caregivers, charities, support workers and more.

Free Event: Understanding Memory Loss - Wednesday 8 July 2026 (6–8pm)
Carers, family members, health professionals and support workers are invited to a special session on the lived experience of dementia-related memory loss. Professor Catherine Loveday, neuropsychologist at the University of Westminster, will be giving an insightful talk on how memory loss affects thinking, behaviour and confidence. She'll also share the latest evidence-based advice for supporting someone’s memory. Takes place at the Ann Owens Centre, Oak Lane East Finchley N2 8LT. We're looking for local residents to join a FREE creative writing and drama workshop exploring the heritage, memories and stories of Grahame Park and Colindale.

No drama experience needed
No writing experience needed
