🌙 _Eid Mubarak from Hedgecock Community Centre_

📢 Big News for Our Community

We’re pleased to share that Hedgecock Community Centre has been given the lease to manage a second, much larger site called Fanshawe Community Centre in Dagenham (Barnmead Rd, RM9 5DX).

This means we will now be running two community centres to serve our community better.

We’re excited to expand the services many of you already know us for, including:
- Boxing, fitness, and wellbeing sessions
- Youth programmes and activities
- Training, education, and community events

Our aim is simple: to provide a safe, welcoming space for everyone in the community.

The centre will operate independently, with activities focused on community benefit.

Barking and Dagenham Council has announced Hedgecock Community Centre Ltd (HCC) as the new leaseholder for Fanshawe Community Centre in Barnmead Road, Dagenham, recognising the centre’s importance to local residents and the wider community.

📚 Hedgecock Tuition Hub – Enrol Now! 🌟

We’ve launched a 6-week pilot tuition programme in Maths, English & Science for children in Years 5–8 at Hedgecock Community Centre.

Our aim is simple “to support families who are finding private tuition difficult to afford”, whatever their personal circumstances may be. *We understand that financial difficulty can mean different things to different people, so we’re leaving it to families to decide if this support would benefit them.*

✨ FREE 12-Week Women’s HIIT Program ✨
We’re excited to announce a Women’s HIIT Session (High Intensity Interval Training) taking place every Thursday 6–7PM at Hedgecock Community Centre, starting 2nd October 2025 🗓️

This is part of the Muslim Sports Network (MSN) Project, designed for LBBD women aged 18+. Sessions will be led by a qualified female instructor, ensuring a culturally sensitive and accommodating environment 🤝
