🎭😂 WHAT A DRAMA-LLAMA OF A DAY! 🤣🎬

A huge thank you to ITS Theatre Company for a fantastic drama workshop today! ❤️👏 We had so much fun, and our members were absolute superstars! 🌟

From freeze frames 🥶 to acting out scenarios and creating our own short stories, we certainly brought the drama! 🎭😂

👶 A baby being born (hopefully the drama wasn't too much for the midwife! 😂)
🦷 A trip to the dentist (say AHHHH! 😬)
🌱 Jack and the Beanstalk (someone needs to keep an eye on those beans! 🫘😂)
🧙‍♂️ The Wizard of Oz (we're off to see the wizard!)
🐺 Little Red Riding Hood (our wolf definitely deserves an Oscar! 🏆🐺)

Everyone did amazingly, playing their parts, using their imaginations, and getting involved. We laughed, we acted, and we may have discovered a few future Hollywood stars! 🌟🎬😂

A massive thank you to Liam at ITS Theatre Company for making it such a brilliant session. ❤️🙌

🤞 Fingers crossed we get to work together again in the future, because we're ready for our next big performance! 🎭✨

Caerphilly People First — watch out, Hollywood, here we come! 😂

🎶🍕 Reconnect Through Music – A Wonderful Time! 🍕🎶

We had a lovely, relaxed Reconnect Through Music session today, filled with fantastic performances, great company, and, of course, plenty of slices of pizza! 🍕😊 Our performers were absolutely brilliant, with just some of today's highlights including:

🎤 Ellysia kicking us off with Roll Over Beethoven by ELO.
🎶 Sean performing Every Morning by Sugar Ray.
🎵 Anthony treating us to Back for Good by Take That.
🕺 Andrew singing Suspicious Minds by Elvis Presley.
💖 Tilly delivering a rendition of All By Myself by Celine Dion.
🌸 Richard performing All Woman by Lisa Stansfield.
⭐ And our birthday twins, Liz and Christine, celebrating their special day with fantastic performances of Reach by S Club 7 and Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond. 🎂🎉

These were just some of the amazing performances that made the afternoon so special, with everyone bringing smiles, laughter, and plenty of singing along! 🎶👏 As well as celebrating Liz and Christine's birthdays, we also wished a very happy birthday to Diane! 🎂🥳 Thank you to Christy, who made sure there was delicious cake and candles for all three birthday celebrations. 🎂🕯️❤️️

Finally, a massive thank you to everyone who helps make these sessions run so smoothly:

👏 Pete, our caretaker, for getting everything set up.
😊 Cheryl for giving everyone such a warm welcome.
🍽️ Christy and Zoe for working so hard in the kitchen.
🎵 Amy and Ffion for keeping the music flowing all afternoon.

💙 Thank you to everyone who came along and made today's session such a joyful, fun, and memorable one. We can't wait to do it all again in two weeks! 🎶😊

Yesterday Ffion delivered a Relationships course to our members, exploring healthy relationships, including friendships and romantic relationships. We talked about why trust, respect, honesty, communication, and consent are so important in all relationships. 🤝

We discussed LGBTQIA+ inclusion 🌈 and why everyone deserves to be accepted and respected for who they are. The group also enjoyed a Relationship Circle activity 🔵 to think about the important people in their lives, and healthy boundaries.

We played fun games 🎲 to spot the signs of healthy ✅ and unhealthy ❌ relationships, then finished with a Fact or Not a Fact quiz 💡 to test everyone's knowledge. It was a fun, interactive session where participants learned about healthy relationships, boundaries, equality, inclusion, and human rights.

🌟 After the session, one of the people who took part said how impressed they were with Ffion's presentation, calling it "professional and informative". Well done Ffion!
