NEXT WEEK - Final Hike 20th December - at 8:30am

FINAL HIKE: 20th DECEMBER - DETAILS

Here is all the information you need for the final hike.

- meet @ Banbury rugby club at 8:30am ( PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME)
- there will be t-shirts available to anyone who does not have one! Please get there early enough to secure one as have limited amount!

- set off for the walk @ 8:45am
- we will be walking from Banbury rugby club through Bodicote fields to The bell and then along the main road back to Banbury Rugby Club.

- DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE ATTENDING, PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME IN ORDER TO GET A PARKING SPACE AND IN ORDER TO LEAVE ON TIME!

- FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE LUNCHING:
- for the ladies who are doing the lunch and would like to get changed afterwards , Changing room 4 has been made available for us to use! ( this includes the showers as well ) - DRESS CODE FOR LUNCH IS CHRISTMAS JUMPERS and as a reminder it is £25 per person for the 3 course meal.

- we will be leaving the bell earlier as we have to be back in time for the lunch at 11:30am so please keep ears open for potter who will be shouting to get peoples attention to take the lunch people earlier!

FOR PEOPLE NOT DOING THE LUNCH:

- you are welcome to stay at the bell for as long as you want or if you want to come back with the lunch group you are more than welcome and again ladies can use the changing rooms to get changed if they wish!!

- WE HAVE CONFIRMED: That there will be some food stands at the rugby club for those who aren’t doing the lunch but are doing the walk! So you won’t go hungry! The bar will also be open.

- After the walk, please feel free to stay, mingle, watch the final game before Christmas and enjoy Banbury rugby club the way me and my family do! We also have Pete Watkins doing music in the evening.

- MANDITORY ATTIRE:

Please all wear a CHRISTMAS JUMPER and if have an IPF TOP or a 12 Hikes in 12 Months top please wear one! If you do not have one but have a rugby top please by all means wear a rugby top! ( do not worry I won’t be making you be in a t-shirt in the cold)

- CHILDREN ATTENDING:
Children are more than welcome to do the walk, however on the way back please remember we will be walking alongside a busy road to please keep them safe and by your side all the way home!

Well done to the 32 people who joined me yesterday on the dragons back hike which is the final big hike!!!

Thank you all for coming yesterday, the weather was awful but you all smashed it!

And thank you to Hawkins Group of Companies Ltd for attending and bringing good vibes!

WEATHER WARNING!!

Hi all,

The hike is still going ahead, we have seen that the weather is going to be very very COLD

SO PLEASE WRAP UP WARM!!

It has also said to be snowing in Brecon when we are there, so we will be taking it easy as it will be slippy!

We will access as we go and if it becomes to dangerous we will make the right decision based on what everyone what’s to do’
