Blanket number 2 for

I followed their crochet pattern so it took me less time. I'm going to persevere with my knitting though as I am finally improving!

I've got a few more white skeins left so I can make a couple more.

If anyone else is making these and wants me to post them off together please let me know.

Last night I finished my first knitted blanket for (I gave up with the knitted border and crocheted one instead!). I'm now doing a crochet one. Both are from patterns on their website which are free to download.

I would love to send a collection of blankets off together from Warm Heart Banbury. I hope our group can be more than just a warm bank. I hope we can spread love from our community anywhere we can.

Please do share any ideas or causes we can help! And please let as many people as possible know we exist! Help me spread the love.

Hi everyone!

I wanted to share this email I received before Christmas. It's so nice to hear where our blankets go and how much they mean. I am starting to collect squares and blankets again, and have a few to pass on to Oxfordshire.

I have learned to knit over the last month so I have also started working on blankets for
They have launched a knitting challenge which you can sign up to for £25, which includes needles and the pattern. Alternatively, there is a kitting and crochet pattern available on their website and I can send all our blankets together!

I feel ready to focus on helping again, and I thank you all for your patience while my grief took over for a while. I plan on making 2026 one of the most productive and helpful years, and I am so grateful to all of you who support me in supporting others. You all have amazing Warm Hearts. 🧶💜
