๐ฒ NEW FREE COMMUNITY PROGRAMME COMING TO SAINTFIELD
Do you enjoy good food, discovering new tastes and traditions โ and meeting new people?
ArtsEkta is bringing its Shared Table: Tastes & Traditions of Rowallane programme to Saintfield, starting on Tuesday 22 September.
This is a FREE programme, bringing people together through food, culture, storytelling and shared experiences. Everyone is welcome and you don't need any previous cooking or other experience to take part.
Over a series of sessions you'll have the opportunity to:
๐ด Share favourite recipes and food memories
๐ฉโ๐ณ Enjoy cooking and food demonstrations
๐ Discover food and traditions from different cultures
๐ Take part in a food and heritage visit
๐ฟ Enjoy a foraging experience
๐ค Meet new people and make new connections
๐ Help create a special Community Food Festival to round off the programme.
The first session takes place on Tuesday 22 September at Rowallane House, from 11amโ3pm, with further activities running through September and October and the final Community Food Festival on 24 October.
Places are FREE and all ingredients and materials are provided.
