Saintfield’s best kept secret!……

Saintfield Community Garden is located behind our Community Centre at the entrance to Windmill Park Saintfield. Run by an amazingly talented group of dedicated volunteers, the garden has grown from strength to strength & is now looking incredible! The community planted raised beds combining vegetables with flowering plants are just gorgeous!

If you have a few minutes to spare, pop in & have a look - if you see any of the volunteers, give them some encouragement - or even better, join them! Hopefully soon we will have an honesty box so you can take some goodies home!

If the poly tunnel is open, pop your head it - the smell of the tomatoes & geraniums is just divine!

And if you ever can’t find Emma, Lu, Cabrini or myself there’s a fair chance you’ll find us enjoying the garden!

Did you know about the “Women Walking” group in Saintfield!?

This group is in the early stages of development but already the interest is incredible!

There are currently 2 walks per week - on a Saturday 9.15am (45mins-1hr) & Wednesday 7.45pm (30mins).

If you are looking for a great way to stay active, meet new people, and enjoy some fresh air - get in touch!

Whether you’re a regular walker or just looking to get started, this friendly group welcomes women of all ages and fitness levels.
