What a summer it has been!

As we welcome September, we are looking back on an incredible Summer 2026 filled with achievements, adventures, and unforgettable memories.

🚜 Lislagan Farm

Over 820 visitors joined us for Open Farm Weekend, more than 100 attended our Wee Festival, summer camps were a huge success, our beekeeping project took off

🏡 Lislagan Cottages

After a year of hard work and preparation, our cottages are almost ready to welcome guests, as they have recently achieved Tourism Northern Ireland Certification

🤝 Best Buddies

From Dream Ride Ireland and USA 2026 to winning the International Programme of the Year Award and enjoying holidays in Fermanagh and Newcastle, it has been a summer to remember.

🌊 Heroes Plus

Members enjoyed trips to Emerald Park and Kilrea Lake, drumming, paddle sports, farm activities, and a fantastic youth engagement event with Bytes North East Team and Translink

⭐ Blast & Hub

Our youngest members packed their summer with farm adventures, water activities, mystery tours, days out, ice cream, and plenty of laughs.

🏡 BASE
Members enjoyed a busy summer of activities and trips, and we proudly celebrated the opening of the new Coleraine BASE home.

🛍️ Can Can Bazaar

Our shops had a busy summer and are now getting ready for autumn with a cosy new seasonal collection.

A huge thank you to everyone who visited, volunteered, partnered with us, supported us, and took part. Here's to all the memories made and the exciting months ahead 🍂💙

Last week, members from BLAST, Hub and Heroes Plus enjoyed an unforgettable trip to Emerald Park! 🎢

The real fun happened away from the camera, so we did not manage to take many photos, which is probably the best sign of all. Everyone was too busy enjoying the rides, spending time with friends, and making the most of a fantastic day out 🤩

We are already looking forward to the next adventure! 👀

Council's Inclusive Play event comes to Portrush this Wednesday 💜

Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council's Inclusive Play Family Events are all about bringing families together through play, movement and fun in an inclusive environment

Come along and enjoy sensory play, inclusive cycling, games and a variety of activities suitable for all ages and abilities.

📍 Portrush Recreation Grounds

📅 Wednesday 5th August

🕐 1:00pm – 3:00pm

🎟️ Free to attend – registration required

Whether you're coming for the cycling, sensory activities or simply to enjoy time together outdoors, we'd love to see you there. 🫶

Further events will take place in Ballymoney (Megaw Park) on Aug 18 and at Portrush Youth Centre on Aug 20.

We have unfortunately had to cancel tomorrow's trip due to circumstances changing. Any payments will be refunded or can be held for the revised date in August.

Lislagan Summer Camp

For everyone attending, please make sure you arrive wearing sun cream, and pack some extra so it can be reapplied throughout the day.

We also recommend bringing a hat, plenty of water to stay hydrated, and dressing appropriately for the warm weather.
