How do you get around town if you live in Belper, Glossop or Ilkeston? And what improvements do you think should be made to make walking, cycling and other forms of ‘active travel’ an easier option?

Nice to read about the upcoming Open Day in Reflections magazine. Put the date in your diary Tuesday 21 May 1-30pm at the Medway.

💙 We love supporting and championing local causes and the Sole Sisters are no exception! They have recently hit their £10,000 target through their fundraising efforts for their chosen charities.

💙 Such an incredible achievement and they aren’t finished yet! Read our May issue to find out how you can help or click the link below!

If you're free on Tuesday, why not pop along and find out more about the Bakewell U3A?

Would anyone have any display panels (or similar) that the
Bakewell u3a could borrow or hire for their
Open Day at the Medway Centre
on Tuesday 21st May.

Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated. 🙏

This was Richard on a training walk with Bakewell u3a in Musden Wood, near Ilam, Staffordshire. The wood lived up to it's name, Mu-den; although not a long walk the mud slowed everyone down, except Benji (Richard's Schnauzer) and his friend Rowen (breed not identified)
Richard sets off from Birmingham Cathedral St Philip's on 5th May hoping to arrive at Worcester Cathedral the next day, about 30 miles.
