Can’t vote if you don’t register, get yourself registered to stop the far right gaining a foothold on MKCC.

We’re still working on tactical voting suggestions, we’re about halfway there with the research and will put it out as soon as it’s ready.

If you’d like to support that work DM us your input, especially if you’re involved in local politics, drop us a press brief or candidate info at least, every data point will be considered.

One week to go! 🗳️

To vote in the local elections, make sure you’re registered by Monday 20 April – it only takes a few minutes.

You have 8 days left to register to vote in MK City Council elections.

Our Anti-Hate-Slate is coming soon, local parties please continue to send in any data you’d like us to consider to collate this tool which tactical voters may use to elect your candidate(s)

Good luck everyone (except the bigots)

🗳️ Milton Keynes City Council’s local elections will take place on Thursday 7 May, and every single council seat will be contested under brand-new ward boundaries.

See who’s standing in your ward

Milton Keynes City Council have now published the Statement of Persons Nominated, which lists everyone standing for election on 7 May, who they represent, and the ward they’re contesting.

https://www.milton-keynes.gov.uk/sites/default/files/2026-04/Statement%20of%20Persons%20Nominated%20MKCC%20-%20Thursday%207%20May%202026.pdf

New wards and number of councillors

Following a review, which happens every ten years, the
Local Government Boundary Commission has made some changes in Milton Keynes:

The number of councillors has increased from 57 to 60
Wards have increased from 19 to 21

There are 19 three‑councillor wards, one two‑councillor ward (New Bradwell) and one single‑councillor ward (Hanslope)

Your recent poll card will tell you which ward you are now in and where you will vote.

🖊️ Voting Hub at Midsummer Place

You can also choose to vote at the Voting Hub in Midsummer Place (MK9 3GB), across Waterstones, which is handy if you’re in the city centre on election day – but remember, you can vote either at the Hub or your usual polling station, not both.

This is part of a trial for this election, run by Government to test new ways of making voting more convenient. Checks will be in place to ensure that no one can vote more than once.

Local elections:

In case you’ve been living under an actual rock, you’ll have the opportunity to vote in every single ward in Milton Keynes next month.

There’s very little information from tactical voting organisations on how progressives should consider voting smart to keep out the far right, but this is the tactic we would encourage.

As such, please help us build an Anti-Hate-Slate.
If you are a local party and feel you’re postured the best to defeat fascism in local government, send us your data and target ward(s) and we will collate what we can to suggest who is best poised to bring down the politics of hate.

We will post any statements and information you would like us to about your candidate.

If you have any concerns about any candidate’s conduct or history, please also send that in, let’s expose any behaviours best left in the bin like Misogyny, Queerphobia, Racism & Ableism.

We want to use our platform to help people collectively reject bigotry and hatred wherever we can.

This is how we make it happen together.

Thank you
Buckinghamshire Anti-Hatred team.

The city has undergone a boundary review and will be part of new centralised vote hub trial.

CW: Ageism, racism, people not understanding youth clubs are good.

So many comments assuming the young people are actually doing anything wrong, they’re are simply existing in a public space.

As Craig Oakes and several others point out, this video was made by a convicted nonce, what’s he doing filming a bunch of kids for anyway? What a weird guy.
