The Stoke Mandeville Village Society presents...

On Wednesday 27th August 2025, at 7.30 pm, we’ll be holding our second talk at The Ark; a presentation by Brian Clements, a longtime resident, on The History of Stoke Mandeville. From 1066 to the present day. Did Anne Boleyn live in the village? Why did the village move? All this and more.

The event will be free to attend, but there are limited places available so you will need to book. Donations would be very welcome on the night to help pay for our running costs.

Booking will be via Eventbrite here:

Let local resident Brian Clements take you into the history of Stoke Mandeville, from the Norman Conquest in 1066 to the modern day!
