Tonight we took advantage of the outside space and continued working towards the Girlguiding Anglia summer challenge badge.
Adapting a sport for those with accessibility issues ran by our wonderful DofE helper and Young Leader, followed by campfire doughnuts and smores 😍

We are still absolutely buzzing after this weekends bee event at Waddesdon Manor Learning .
The girls had such a fantastic time and we thank all those who organised it, and the adults who helped our unit on the day.
The girls made bee houses, tasted honey, made candles, paper plant pots and learnt about bees. What an informative day helping them to achieve their Animal Helper Badge 😍

It's not every weekend you get to sleepover at a theme park!
Being in Brownies is all about trying new things and this weekend we certainly did that! The girls had a wonderful time, pushed themselves to try new experiences and laughed and smiled the whole weekend through!

Thank you so much to the Cook family for such an interesting meeting last night! And for organising the weather so well!
Girlguiding is all about giving girls opportunities and this was a fantastic opportunity for the girls to visit a real working farm, so thank you! They had a chance to learn about agriculture from sheep farming to grass growing and everything in between including holding the lambs and even sitting in a tractor, a first for many of them!

What a fantastic start we have had to this summer term! When you have many new Brownies starting how do you get them to get to know everyone.... You take everyone's shoes off and turn out the lights of course!!!Much fun was has finding their pairs 🤣
