At our last meeting Christopher Cope brought along his fantastically details models to explain how Boudicca was defeated by the Romans in AD60. It turned into a slaughter and it is reputed that she is buried in the mound at Quidenham, she features on the village sign. Some say she doesn’t exist?

A very entertaining evening for all.
