The Rotary Club is running a Bottle Stall, and we’re on the hunt for bottles of just about anything:
Wine? Yes please.
Pop? Perfect.
Fancy bubble bath you’ll never actually use? We’ll take it!
That mysterious bottle at the back of the cupboard you forgot you bought? Send it our way! 😄

If you’ve got a bottle (or a whole herd of them) you’re happy to donate, drop a comment below and we’ll arrange collection faster than you can say “bottoms up!” 🍻

📚 Supporting Literacy in Our Community 📚

We’re delighted to share that Tyldesley with Atherton Rotary Club has donated over 50 books to Dorset Road Community Centre, helping to keep their lending library going for local families and residents.
Literacy is a key area of focus for Rotary worldwide, and we’re proud to play our part by supporting access to books and learning in our own community.
We’re always looking for new members to come along and see what we’re about. If you’d like to get involved or find out more, please get in touch — you’d be very welcome!

Father Christmas around the local streets. With his sleigh lit up and music playing, families can
step outside to wave and share in the magic as Santa tours the community, keeping a muchloved tradition alive

Our Rotary Club of Tyldesley with Atherton are always looking to see how we can support our community and a cause we always love to support is the Forgotten Regulars Group at The Union Arms, Tyldesley. Sharon Mattin and the team are selfless all through the year and always do even more at Xmas. This year all group attendees will be receiving a handknitted Xmas stocking with treats inside. We were thrilled to be able to donate chocolates to support. If you'd like to donate some chocolates to help their Xmas party festivities please drop them off with Sharon and the team x

Great news- our children's Lending Library at Shackerley Community Centre has been restocked by Tyldesley with Atherton Rotary Club. Literacy is one of Rotary Club of Tyldesley with Atherton core goals, and we're proud to help more local children find books to love. Did you know that around 1 in 12 children in the UK do not have a book of their own? Come down, borrow a book, and share the joy of reading 📚
