This Volunteers Week we want to thank all of the volunteers who work tirelessly to keep Ashton United FC and Non League clubs operating so we can all enjoy our football matches ⚽

We don't have a picture of everyone but here we feature Wayne, Jack and Tom representing all of you who have got involved in the last year ⚪🔴

Come along and join in the fun, we will be there from 10am - 6pm

Tomorrow! 250 £1 vouchers to come and watch our pre-season friendly with will be available at "Street Life" in the centre of town. When they are gone they are gone!

Come along and see us, grab a voucher, meet Rocky Robin, talk to our manager Steve Cunningham and players throughout the day too. The small matter of 1966 World Cup Winner, Geoff Hurst being around the Football Zone too between 12 and 1!

Also chat to us about hiring The Cross Bar and about the excellent work of Ashton United in the Community 🔴⚪

Luncheon Club Update

Due to the current bad weather and the state of the roads and pavements around Hurst Cross we have taken the decision to cancel tomorrow's (Wednesday 7th Jan) event on safety grounds.

We will be back serving the senior members of our community next Wednesday 12th Jan at the usual time of 12 o'clock.

What a great day, supporting an incredible cause. Also what a great reception from members of the AUITC Luncheon Club when the walkers entered the Crossbar, I know that Simone & Joe really appreciated it. Thanks also to everyone that supported me in making this happen and to Rocky the Robin for making an appearance.

LUNCHEON CLUB UPDATE !!

Due to unfortunate circumstances beyond our control we have had to cancel this weeks first luncheon club scheduled for Wednesday 29th October. All being well Luncheon Club will resume next Wednesday 5th November. Please watch this space for any further updates.

Luncheon Club is Back !!
Our ever-popular Luncheon Club is back. Our first date is Wednesday 29th October in the Crossbar at Hurst Cross starting at 12:00pm and will run through the winter months until
the end of April 2026.

We offer a free two-course lunch, with entertainment and the chance to meet old and new friends. Due to spaces being limited, we have had to restrict the admission to people over 60 years old, within the OL6 postcode area.​

Hurstfest 2025

Yesterday we held our annual Hurstfest family fun day in conjunction with our partners at Save the Children & Smallshaw-Hurst Children's Community along with our army of volunteers without whom this event would not be possible.
The weather stayed fine and over 1200 people attended the event. Below are a selection of photos from the day.
