UPCOMING WEEKEND SERVICE DISRUPTION DUE TO ENGINEERING WORKS ELSEWHERE:

On the weekends of the 19th/20th and 26th/27th September, train services on the Northumberland Line will be suspended due to engineering works.A rail replacement bus service will run between Ashington and Northumberland Park (via all stations), with customers then changing onto the Tyne & Wear Metro...

Delighted to welcome Newsham Station Adopters, Blyth Rotary. And what a way to start! After weeks of planning, just look at the epic 'day out' they have planned on Northern's system to raise awareness, and hopefully a few a few pounds to help end polio! Have a read of their schedule, and perhaps wave to them on their journey and drop the price of a coffee in their electronic collecting tin!
