Congratulations to our Bernicia Living colleagues who have qualified as trusted assessors to speed up home adaptations for our customers! 😀😍

They are newly qualified Bernicia Living TACT assessors - improving the way we support vulnerable customers to live safely and independently at home.
They have completed a two-day residential training course delivered by Trusted Assessing and Care Training (TACT), gaining Level 3 Trusted Assessor qualifications.
This allows them to professionally assess and identify the right location at homes for minor adaptations such as grab rails, shower chairs and external step rails.
By developing our in-house trusted assessor expertise, Bernicia Living will be able to respond more quickly to straightforward adaptation requests, helping customers remain independent while also easing pressure on NHS and local authority partners.
This investment in our colleague development shows Bernicia’s commitment to delivering an outstanding aids and adaptations service, focused on timely support, practical solutions and helping customers live well in their homes.
