We are pleased to announce that we will be extending our referrals to Leicester Royal Infirmary.

Queen’s Medical Centre and Leicester Royal Infirmary work closely together, meaning that children may receive their brain tumour diagnosis and initial treatment at Nottingham, before their ongoing care and treatment is transferred to Leicester.

This means we will be able to support even more children and their families in the future. 💜

Open to runners aged 16 and over

Multiple categories with trophies and prizes to be won

Recently, we were able to support a family facing an incredibly difficult time. Although we are unable to change the outcome they are facing, we hope we have been able to bring a little comfort when it is needed most.

The family requested an air cooler and a dehumidifier to help their child feel more comfortable. In addition, we provided a £150 supermarket voucher to help ease some of the financial pressures they are experiencing.

Thanks to your continued kindness, generosity, and support, we are able to help families who are going through situations no family should ever have to face alone.

We are sending this family all our love, strength, and best wishes during this challenging time. 💜💜

Last week we sent an Apple Watch ⌚️ Series 11 to a 15 year old boy, who would like to remain anonymous, he is currently on chemotherapy treatment and has a diagnosis of Epilepsy - this watch will help him live more independently monitoring his health condition!

💙 International Nurses Day 💙

All of the Nurses that came into our lives through Eve’s treatment were all incredible, they didn’t just care for Eve, but cared for us too. They made our hospital visits fun.

They gave Eve confidence and always put her at ease - she trusted every one of them. They were always there for me when things got too much, through the good times and the bad, they became like family!

We never wanted to meet these people but they made our journey a whole lot easier.

Thank you to QMC Nottingham Nurses, Nottingham City & Derby Community Team we will never forget what you did!!
