1st Yapton & Ford Scouts Providing for young people from 6 to 18yo Providing adventure and for young people in Yapton, Ford and the surrounding area.

We have thriving Beaver (6-8yo), Cub (8-10.5yo), and Scout (10.5-14yo) sections, and are partnered with Peregrine Explorers (14-18yo). We have our own hut with secured activity and camping space, as well as a small bunkhouse. Available to hire to youth groups.

Dear Parents/Carers,

Unfortunately, we have had to cancel this year’s Sandcastle Beach Challenge due to weather warnings currently in place. The safety of the Cubs, leaders, and families is always our top priority, and with the forecast conditions it would not be safe to go ahead.

We know this will be disappointing news, and we are sorry for any inconvenience caused. Thank you for your understanding.

Exciting News from 1st Yapton & Ford Squirrels!

We’re thrilled to officially welcome Piglet and Tigger to our Squirrel Drey and the scouting family. 🐿️

After jumping in with both feet and bringing loads of energy and kindness, to the sessions, they’ve now been officially invested as Squirrel Leaders! 👏

Thank you both for everything you do, the Squirrels are very lucky to have you on the adventure!
