✍️ PLEASE HELP LOCAL WILDLIFE TO SURVIVE THE HEAT AND DROUGHT.
The exceptionally dry weather and extreme heat is putting huge stress on wildlife and ecosystems. With many birds and animals unable to access food sources in baked hard soil. Please help local wildlife by doing one of the most important life saving tasks.
Put water 💦 out for wildlife in your garden.
Use shallow containers with a few pebbles or logs in, so that birds, bees, other insects and mammals, such as hedgehogs, can drink. This is vital, as most animals are travelling long distances for food and shelter and will need to stop regularly for water and rest. The water can also create a micro-climate for small insects that seems cooler than dry areas.
