The brownies’ visit to Letchworth tennis club was scuppered by the weather this week. But ever resourceful we had our own tennis taster session indoors!

While we were out and about on behalf of the book fairies, the brownies enjoyed a discovery walk through the village, answering lots of questions about village life.

Do you know:
The date the gates were installed at St Peter’s church?

How many Rainbows are on the war memorial?

Where you can ‘buy’ New laid eggs and animal food?

How many defibrillators there are in Arlesey?

How long it takes to get by bike from Lymans Road to Hitchin?

The time the library opens on Thursdays?

The name of Arlesey’s Mayoress?

These are some of the questions we needed to get right to enjoy our treat at the end.

Good job we did well as the chips were delicious!
