A sample of some of the wonderful quilts, sewn, knitted and crocheted by supporters of The League of Friends of Clifton Hospital. Bonney Fabrics & Wool craft groups; Craft and Chat/Knit and Natter at Freckleton, Dust if You Must Group, St. Cuthbert' s Mothers Union and other ladies who heard about us in the community.
The lap blankets will give a feeling of normality to our in-patients and they can take them home afterwards.
This is an ongoing project of course and we would delighted if other groups or individuals would like to help. Squares can be sewn together by us too.

Thank you to everyone who supported our Afternoon Tea on Thursday at the Glendower with the wonderful Kerry Rogers.

We raised in the region of £1500 on our raffle, so huge thanks to all those who bought tickets and all winners will be notified today.

Thanks to the Glendower Team for all their help and to the Mayor and Mayoress for supporting.

Huge thanks also to Kerry Rogers and Debbie Whiteside for their superb entertainment.

Huge shout out to Bonney Fabrics & Wool who are supporting our project to provide lap blankets for patients. Thanks to all members of the crafting groups who are helping with this and to Linda for facilitating the groups. It is so appreciated. For those knitting squares, wool is on special offer at Bonney's too.

Join us in June for a wonderful Afternoon Tea Party and help support patient care at Clifton Hospital, Pershore Road, Lytham St Annes.
We shall be hosting this event at the Glendower Hotel in St Annes on Thursday, June 18th from 1pm to 3.30pm with music from the amazing Kerry Rogers. There will be a prize raffle (first prize £100), a fun quiz and the opportunity to Eat, Chill and Chat with friends!
Tickets are £25 or grab some friends and book a table of 10 for £220.

☕ Something lovely is coming to St Annes Town Hall...

The Mayor of Fylde, Councillor Richard Redcliffe, is hosting a Coffee Morning in aid of the mayoral charities - and you're invited!

Join us on Friday 22 May at 10:30am for a morning of good coffee, great company, and plenty to browse, with stalls from Crafty Cottage UK and Tropic Beauty Products, plus a raffle and cake stall.

All proceeds go to the Mayor of Fylde's Charities: Fylde Foodbank, Girlguiding Kilgrimol Centre, and the League of Friends of Clifton Hospital.
