💦 WATER-BASED EXERCISE THROUGH ANNAN & DISTRICT DAY CENTRE 💦

We’re delighted to offer a fantastic range of water-based exercise sessions through Annan & District Day Centre, in partnership with Solway Swim.

Current availability:
🏊 Monday Aqua — 1 space available
🏊 Wednesday Aqua — 2 spaces available
🆕 Friday Aqua Step — a couple of spaces available across the month
🏊‍♀️ Adult Learn to Swim — FULL

Our sessions are:

💦 Monday Aqua — 10:00am–11:00am
💦 Wednesday Aqua — 10:00am–11:00am
💦 Friday Aqua Step — 11:00am–12:00pm
💦 Wednesday Adult Learn to Swim — 6:20pm

Water-based exercise is fantastic for all-round health and wellbeing. It is low impact on the joints, while the resistance of the water helps build strength and muscle.

It can also help improve:
💙 Balance and coordination
💙 Cardiovascular fitness
💙 Strength and mobility
💙 Confidence
💙 Mental health and wellbeing

Our Aqua sessions use a variety of equipment, including belts, weights, gloves and resistance discs, with new routines every month to keep things varied and challenge you in different ways.

And now we’re adding something brand new — Aqua Step.

💜 Cancer Connections — We Want to Hear From You 💜

Cancer Connections is a small group set up to support people affected by cancer, and we want to make sure it develops around the people it is there for.

We know cancer can be a frightening word and that everyone’s experience is different. That’s why we’ve created a short feedback survey to hear directly from you about what you would find helpful — whether that’s meetings, information, support, talks, newsletters, Facebook updates or something completely different.

We’re only asking for a couple of minutes of your time. As always, our aim is to make Cancer Connections as supportive, useful and welcoming as possible for those who may need it.
