There we have it - we have started our journey!
180 saplings planted on Costello Playing Fields as approved by the Council in a designated area.
Rowan, Crab Apple, Birch (Downy and Silver), Blackthorn, Hawthorn, Hazel and Goat Willow. Avoided putting the the 15 Oak I have which I will retain for now.
Amazing how receptive and grateful some people are of the small contribution I am making - makes it worth it in the short-term, the long-term will be to see those trees in blossom next spring 🤞
Wildflowers sown too in a small area which I hope the mowers will miss
