The full list of candidates for each electoral division is available via the link in the comments 🔍

Photo ID is required at polling stations. If you’re voting in person on 7 May, you’ll need an accepted form of photo ID such as a passport or driving licence. The Government has today set out plans for the future of local councils across Hampshire and the Solent area. From April 2028, our area will shift to a simpler setup, with five new unitary councils replacing the current 15 county, district and unitary authorities that serve Hampshire, Southampton, Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight.

Nothing is changing right now, and our priority remains to keep everyday services running as usual and ensuring that vital support for those who need it most continues safely and without interruption.

We’ll be sharing updates over the coming weeks and months as we work with neighbouring councils to help shape the new authorities.

The goal is for you to feel the benefits of a simpler system of local government in the years ahead.

Search LGR on the County Council’s website for more information or follow the link in the comments.
