I have sent an email to Carmarthenshire County Council this evening regarding the overflowing of this bin that can be found directly along the section of riverside walk in between the Star Multifuels heating oil supplier and Half Moon Inn within the ward of Glanamman. As you can see within these images, the bin is filled to the top with multiple bags of dog faeces, which I am extremely concerned could present massive health and safety issues to users of the path as well as encourage acts of frustration-driven fly tipping, which has already been a significant problem in our area for some time. I look forward to the council’s correspondence on this issue and hope to see it resolved soon.

I have sent another email to Carmarthenshire County Council regarding the presence of large potholes that can be found along the stretch of Folland Road near the Amman Valley hospital in the ward of Glanamman. This is regrettably the fourth email that I have had to send regarding this issue, and whilst I can wholeheartedly appreciate the financial constraints of our local authority and have a deep amount of respect for everyone that works wothin it, these potholes are still causing massive frustration for residents within Glanamman and pose massive financial and safety issues for road users who have to rely on roads within our community for work and leisure purposes. I have also sent an email regarding similar issues on Brynlloi Road, and I look forward to the council’s timely correspondence on this matter.

Pleased to see this update regarding a number of local footpaths that I have raised concerns about from Cllr Emyr Rees, and I thank him and Carmarthenshire County Council for their work to resolve these issues. 😀

I am incredibly pleased to report that I have received a response from Carmarthenshire County Council regarding the littering around the steel shelter near the Penybont play area, informing me that the matter has been logged on the system and passed on to the Cleansing Department to deal with and will be attended to within the next 5 working days. I would like to thank Carmarthenshire County Council for their swift response and I look forward to the action that they will undertake to maintain the cleanliness of our local community. I would also like to thank the council for their swift response to concerns I raised on behalf of a resident within Glanamman regarding vegetation along the public footpath that connects the Bro Ryan estate with Bryncethin Road, and I look forward to seeing these bushes being cut as quickly as possible. Great work everyone! 😀

Our first session will focus on removing and replacing steps in Pumsaint.

To all our patients and customers,

We would like to apologise sincerely for any inconvenience caused recently as a result of our changeover to a brand-new computer system, designed to significantly improve the level of service we provide.

Unfortunately, as with all major system changes, the process involves a great deal of complexity, time, and stress behind the scenes, which has unfortunately led to some delays and disruption to our normal service.

We would like to thank you all for your patience and understanding during this transition period and ask you to please bear with us for another week or so while everything settles into place.

The good news is that once complete, we will have a massively improved system that will help us provide an even better service to all our patients and customers. We are also very excited to soon be announcing a number of new services — and of course we will be delighted to welcome any new customers who wish to join us.

Watch this space!

Kindest regards,
Simon, Bron & the fantastic techs at Garnant Pharmacy
