I am absolutely delighted to see that the traffic lights outside of the Half Moon Inn in Garnant are now operational again and also deeply chuffed to see that the vehicle debris on Cwmamman Road has now been cleared up. I would like to thank Carmarthenshire County Council for their work in dealing with these issues. It is much appreciated by myself and residents in our community.

I have today sent an email to the team at Carmarthenshire County Council to report and raise my concerns regarding the non-operational pedestrian crossing located outside the Half Moon Inn in Garnant. While the crossing isn't broken mechanically, the signals are deactivated and a prominent "Crossing Not in Use" sign is up, leaving local residents, especially children, the elderly, and those with mobility impairments, without a safe way to cross a busy road.

Additionally, I have sent an email regarding the hazardous car debris left scattered all over the pavement and roadside on Cwmamman Road in Glanamman. Shards of shattered glass and sharp plastic bodywork strewn across the walkway pose a serious risk to pedestrians, dog walkers, and children walking to school, as well as a hazard for passing motorists.
I thank the council for their attention to these issues, and I look forward to their correspondence on both matters. If you have any additional concerns about local issues, please feel free to contact me!

I have today sent an email to the team at Cwmamman Town Council to report and raise my concerns regarding the dilapidated condition of the public seating area that is located Cwmamman Road, and situated just near the junction with Ffordd y Nant in Glanamman. As the attached photographs illustrate, this seating area is currently completely unusable and presents a distinct safety hazard to the public, and I am deeply concerned that it will not be long before a serious accident occurs involving this bench. I thank Cwmamman Town Council for their attention to this issue and I look forward to their correspondence on this matter.

In response to an enquiry that I made regarding the unsafe condition of the gate that is located infront of the railway crossing on Station Road in Glanamman, I am incredibly pleased to report that I have received correspondence from Network Rail informing me that a temporary repair of the gate has been carried out and a full repair will take place within the next three months. I would to thank everyone at Network Rail for their hard work to resolve this issue. I much appreciate it as do residebts of our area. I would also like to report how pleased I am by certain maintenance works that have taken place to address vegetation issues along footpaths within Glanamman and Garnant, and I would like to extend my thanks to both Carmarthenshire County Council as well as to Cwmamman Town Council for their correspondence on both issues.
