4th Tyldesley Scout Group

4th Tyldesley Scout Group 4th Tyldesley Scout Group meet at Lilford HQ, Tyldesley Beavers are aged between 6 and 8 years. They meet on Wednesday evenings between 5:30 and 6:30.

4th Tyldesley Scout Group are open to Young People of any background, race, s*x or religion across Astley, Boothstown, Tyldesley, Atherton, Mosley Common and Leigh. Cubs are aged between 8 and 10.5 years. They meet on Wednesday between 6:30 and 8:00. Scouts are aged between 10.5 and 14 years. They meet on Wednesday between 7:30 and 9:00. All groups are run by volunteers and help is always welcome.

Our Story

4th Tyldesley Scout Group was first formally registered with the Scout Association in 1970 and has served the young people in our community for over 40 years. We are open to Young People of any background, race, s*x or religion across Astley, Boothstown, Tyldesley, Atherton, Mosley Common, Ellenbrook and Leigh. Beavers are aged between 6 and 8 years. They meet on Wednesday evenings between 5:30 and 6:30. Cubs are aged between 8 and 10.5 years. They meet on Wednesday between 6:30 and 8:00. Scouts are aged between 10.5 and 14 years. They meet on Wednesday between 7:30 and 9:00. We also have an Explorer Scout group for 14 to 18 year olds.
