This afternoon, our volunteers spent their time litter-picking in Anstey Park, clearing up the pump track which had been left in a disgraceful state.
Alongside the trash pictured below, we filled two shopping bags with rubbish retrieved from the track itself, from the surrounding green areas and from within the play park. There are two available bins available, both with substantial space for the rubbish collected. There are no excuses.
We thank the polite young lads who gave us a hand, and applaud them all for wearing helmets and displaying exceptional skatepark etiquette.
We implore the rest of the park goers to uphold such impeccable behaviour!
