Tonight, Alsager Tangent were delighted to present a cheque for £2000 to our Past Chairman Helen’s chosen charity for the 25/26 year, St Luke's Cheshire Hospice

We were pleased to welcome Rachel, a representative from St Luke’s, who gave us a really interesting talk about the incredible work they do within our community. It was wonderful to learn more about how St Luke’s is so much more than just a hospice - from respite care and art therapy, to their network of charity shops and the many ways they support patients and families.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported our fundraising throughout the year and helped make this donation possible 💙

Thank you from the Alsager Round Table to all the families that supported the Easter Egg Hunt on the 4th April.

The event was a big success and we want to send a big thank you to all the organisations which supported the event with donations, including The Vault, Bosphorus, Home, Two Doors Studio, Adecco, Fade Zone Barbers, Hub and Health, Sandtony, Lakeside Fish Bar, Timeless Carpets, Bod, the Round Table Masons, Rose's Refills, Pure Crystals, Flower Passion, Spar, PME, The Thirteen Club and Cranberry Karate Club.

We also want to say a big thank you to our partners Tangent and 41 Club, who played a huge part in organising the event and supporting us on the day.

We are proud to continue supporting the community.

Last week we enjoyed our 575th meeting with a lovely meal at Casa Mia and were delighted to welcome our newest members, Gemma, Sarah and Sharon. Welcome ladies! 💙

Alsager Tangent is part of the Round Table family - a friendly local group for women who enjoy friendship, fun and supporting our community. We meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month, and with members aged from their 30s to 90s, there’s truly a place for everyone.

This evening, Alsager Tangent will be out looking after Santa and his float as it travels around Fields Rd, Sandbach Rd South, Linley Rd, Linley Grove & Barratt Rd!

We’re fundraising in partnership with Alsager Round Table, and as a non-profit group, every penny raised tonight goes straight back into supporting the wonderful events and activities we help run here in Alsager.

Any funds not needed for local events will be donated to our Chairman’s Charity this year - St Luke's Cheshire Hospice, a cause very close to our hearts following the loss of one of our much-loved members earlier this year.

Thank you for supporting Santa, our community, and a truly special local charity ❤️
