💪 Parents – Your Support Matters!
As we get ready for the new netball year at Alsager Netball Club, we want to remind all our parents just how important your support is – both on and off the court. ❤️🖤
Our players should feel encouraged, supported and proud, whatever the result. Netball is about learning, developing, making friends and, most importantly, enjoying the game.
👏 Please remember:
Encourage your child to play for their own enjoyment, not ours.
Celebrate effort, improvement and good sportsmanship – not just winning.
Applaud good play from both teams.
Let the coaches coach and the umpires umpire.
Accept officials' decisions, even when you don't agree with them.
Never criticise your own child or another player.
Be respectful towards opposition players, coaches and officials.
Remember that our coaches and club volunteers give their time to help our players develop.
Set the example we want our young players to follow – positive, respectful and supportive.
Our players hear enough pressure in everyday life. When they step onto the netball court, let's make sure they know we're there to cheer them on, lift them up and celebrate them. 🥰🏐
