Use your vote tomorrow. Tomorrow’s election is an opportunity to make your voice heard.

UNISON is the largest public services union in Scotland, our collective voting power can protect services and defend our rights at work.

Public services are at the heart of a fairer Scotland.

You will make your own decision about who to vote for. Not all politicians are the same, which is why your vote matters.

Throughout this election campaign UNISON has been challenging politicians of all parties to commit to properly fund public services, invest in staff and tackle the cost of living.

This election must be a public services election. Staff need fair pay, good conditions, be safe at work, decent pensions and have the resources they need to provide the services our communities rely on.

Tomorrow, alongside thousands of UNISON members, you can make a difference.

Use your vote and encourage others to do the same.

Thank you, Lilian Macer - UNISON Scottish Secretary

International Workers’ Memorial Day – Remember the dead. Fight for the living.

Today we remember all those who lost their lives, or were injured, simply doing their jobs and we recommit to fighting for every worker’s right to be safe at work.

From the Covid inquiry hearings highlighting the risks faced by frontline workers, to the ongoing danger of asbestos in schools, hospitals and public buildings, the need for strong protections – and strong unions – remains as urgent as ever.
