The Ploughing Championships taking place in Allesley Parish this weekend are not being organised by the Allesley Parish Council.

Important news regarding the Ploughing Competition in Allesley.
The Ploughing championships will be held over the weekend of 11th and 12th October 2025. There will be no road closures in connection with the event.
All event traffic will be directed to leave the A45 at Allesley and access the event via Rye Hill, Windmill Hill and Washbrook Lane. All lorries will park at the farm accessed from Alton Hall Lane. All trailers will park at the farm accessed via Oak Lane. All spectators will be directed to Oak Lane and park in the grass fields there. The city council has been provided with the risk assessment, traffic management plan etc in plenty of time but have still not acknowledged receipt.
Allesley Parish Council are not organisers of this event.

It's a Chieftain Mk11 British main Battle tank made in 1968. Owned by Joe Hewes and adapted to plough with a Dowdeswell DP7E plough by ONE Fabrication Ltd
