Great fun in the Craft Group today!beads, beads and yet more beads! Some made jewelry, some repaired treasured jewelry and others made sun-catchers...even if this afternoon was not the best day to see them!
Lots of fun and laughter with many periods of silence too, as we concentrated on our individual challenges.
Such great company and fab results too!

A great lunchtime gathering today!
We visited The Mundy Arms in Heanor. A few had room after their main meal for a pud. However, the size of the sharing dessert that Paul and Gill had after was truly amazing!
Equally amazing is the fact that they managed to finish it!!

Do you like local history? Do you want to find our more about your locality? Our Local History Group may be for you. Various outings arranged. Last month the Group visited Kelham Island in Sheffield. An excellent museum illustrating the Sheffield steel industry.

The Real Ale Group met at the Miners Arms in Alfreton where they all enjoyed an afternoon of conversation and friendship, not to mention the ale supped.

A lovely morning walking and chatting by the canal in Mercia Marina, Wellington.
Thank you to Claire and David for organising it at short notice. It was a lovely place to visit, the walk was refreshing, the canal boat cafe was great and the local art gallery really was worth a visit ..even if I could not afford anything!
