With a great weather forecast for the Bank Holiday weekend, Sefton's coastline is expected to be extremely busy.
Green Sefton and coastal partners want everyone to enjoy their visit, but please treat this fragile habitat with respect.
Fires and barbecues are not allowed, neither are overnight stays.
Please remember that the dune system and shoreline are protected landscapes because of the incredible wildlife that relies on it.
At this time of year migration of some species is still in full swing and there are active amphibians, reptiles, insects and nesting birds at many sites, and they are arguably at their most vulnerable at this time of year.
Our teams will be working across the Bank Holiday weekend, and bins can be emptied up to ten times a day in extreme conditions.
Even so, it can be hard to keep up with the volume of litter left by some inconsiderate visitors.
People coming to the coast can help keep this landscape beautiful by taking their rubbish home with them.
Itis not hard, if you can bring it to the coast, then you can take it home again after your visit.
After all, if you enjoy coming to a stunning landscape like this, why dump litter all over it?
Dogs must be kept under control and horses riders are expected to observe the long-standing Code of Conduct, which includes not visiting two hours either side of high tide.
Respect, protect and enjoy the Sefton Coast.
