The Murphy Project CIC

The Murphy Project supports people facing hair loss from cancer or autoimmune conditions. Based in West Wales but here for everyone.

We provide free care packages, organic headwear, well-being events, and support groups. The Murphy Project CIC is a community-led organisation supporting people experiencing hair loss from chemotherapy, cancer treatment, or autoimmune conditions. Our journey began in 2017, when our founder started making organic cotton headwear for her close friend Claire during her cancer treatment. After Claire

sadly passed away in 2024, the project grew into a wider mission to provide free care packages, eyebrow and lash solutions, well-being events, and online support. Based in Ceredigion, West Wales, we’re here to help people feel confident, empowered, and supported throughout their hair loss and cancer journey.

Our last stop!

This Sunday will be the last time our board is in public before we start to arrange our memorial at the sea!

We will be in the Tesco/Mark's and Spencers foyer this Sunday from 10am if you'd like to pop down we'd love to see you there ###

We had the dream team today!

Big thanks and for all your help.

Its hard to put into words how special these events are, but they are so needed! Thanks to every person who attended today and made the day what it was.

Hi everyone, we wanted to make you aware that our next well being event is booked for Sunday 7th June 10am until 2pm.

Capel Gosen Rhydyfelin.

The day is for anyone affected by cancer. It could be yourself. A carer or someone who has lost a loved one and needs to calm their nervous system for the day.

We have a host of treatments available on the day by some of the most amazing local therapists all paid for courtesy of the National Lottery.

There is free parking. Accessible entrance and refreshments on the day as well as a morning and afternoon session of breathwork or yoga/sound healing.

We can't wait to see you all there!

Mae'r diwrnod ar gyfer unrhywun sydd wedi cael ei heffeithio gan gancr, wedi dioddef eich hun, yn gofalu am glaf neu wedi colli anwylyd i gancr. Bydd sesiynau ioga, "sound healing" ac anadlu llesol yn y bore a'r prynhawn.

Darperir amrywiaeth o driniaethau yn rhad ac am ddim* ar y dydd gan therapyddion lleol, gwych. (*diolch i'r Loteri Cenedlaethol).

We've just confirmed that we can take our board to Aberystwyth crematorium on Saturday 23rd of May for anyone who wants to come and add a loved ones name! We will be there 11am until 2pm. We only have 3 stops left now ❤️❤️

We did it!

Our second well being event completed 👏

These events are so special and we meet such amazing people and I get to do it with a brilliant team!

Huge thanks to all the services today you were all brilliant and to and My Ben for all your help!

Now I'm going to take a break until the new year and then on to the next!

We have open treatments available on the day this Sunday

But we will have 2 group sessions for those who want to join.

At 11.00 will be holding space for those wanting try a gentle yoga practice, louise had recommended for you to bring a blanket for the last part of the session so you are lovely and comfortable for the relaxation section.

Then, at 12.30, will be relaxing all your nervous systems with a sound healing and breath work session. You don't want to miss this, guys. Imagine heaven and lushness in a room!

I wanted to make you aware of the planned group work so you can plan your visit accordingly.

These 2 ladies are at the top of their games and will look after you all so well.

, who will be offering mini reflexology sessions on the day = heaven

And , who will hold some breathwork and sound sessions as well as information on aromatherapy

These ladies will help you relax and take a breather from all the noise cancer brings along, and I can't wait to have them there 😀
