Activation e-mail from The Circuit on Thursday for the Abergavenny Rotary Club defib by the old Post Office. It had gone out to someone that made a 999 call. Checked it over and put back available for use.

Each of these 17 defibs are owned/maintained by Abergavenny Rotary Club, with the funds raised from the Abergavenny Steam Rally. The sixteen 24/7 defibs are all registered with BHF The Circuit https://www.thecircuit.uk

The latest Community Public Access Defibrillator (cPAD) was installed today on the Wellbeing Information Centre by the bus station. Bought and maintained by the Abergavenny Rotary Club with finances raised from the Abergavenny Steam Rally.

Nearly 11 years ago (June 2015) when Martin Phillips, John Bannon and Andrew Lewis met after the Chronicle article, we thought of the bus station as an ideal location. Today that was achieved.

Abergavenny Rotary Club Defibs location 16 installed in November.

With the initiative having been going for 20 years we also have 2 of the cabinets due to be replaced at the Rugby Club and Market Hall entrance
