This year NESFIT applied for the Just Transition Fund, and we were rejected for the second time. Here's a bit about our bid and why we need to broaden the discussion around what a "Just Transition" really means.
The transition in buildings must put people first and we need places to have those conversations, to learn from each other and to design the right solution.
Thanks to Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce, NESCAN Hub and JUST-Systems who supported our bid and the amazing team of volunteers who helped put the bid together, especially Donna Ward and Erik Dalhuijsen. Writing funding applications is hard, thankless, time consuming work.
