Volunteer Week - Well Done Wednesday! 👏

We have the pleasure of announcing our 5th and 6th Room to Reward winners are....
💫 Ninjas Terri and Skyla 💫

Mum and daughter power due- Terri and Skyla are valued Ninjas in the team who always step in to help wherever they can, bringing a friendly, fun and welcoming energy to our spaces- they make a real difference just by being there.

From supporting information hubs during Tall Ships, to stepping in when we had poorly Ninjas at Elf School, and shining extra brightly at Spectra Light Festival in February — they are true Ninjas through and through.💚

Each year, our Volunteer Coordinator Sofie can nominate outstanding volunteers for the Room to Reward scheme, sharing their contributions and why they deserve a well-earned break.

This recognition is a small thank you for the huge impact our volunteers make every day — you are seen, valued, and deeply appreciated 💫

We are absolutely delighted to announce that We Too! has been selected as a Supporting Charity Partner for the Aberdeen Half Marathon 2026! 🙌

And now comes the exciting bit...

We have up to 10 charity places available for amazing humans who would like to run, jog, walk, shuffle, power-walk, or simply survive 13.1 miles in support of neurodivergent and disabled children, young people and families across Aberdeen City and Shire.

No matter whether you're a seasoned runner or someone who thinks a marathon is what happens when Netflix asks if you're still watching, we'd love to have you on Team Ninja with Trustees Adele and Natalie.....

🥷 Ask A Ninja Series 🥷

🌟 Join Ninja Gillian 💚 for an insightful session all about understanding ADHD — and how it can shape the everyday experiences of those who live with it.

Gillian will be sharing a her own family’s journey with ADHD and how it can affect behaviour, emotions, routines, and relationships — not only for the individual but also for the people around them.

She will provide practical tools and strategies 📚 that can make a real difference and hopefully you’ll leave with useful insights and ideas you can apply right away.

It’s also a wonderful opportunity to:
✅ Learn more about ADHD in a safe, inclusive space
✅ Connect with others who understand or are on similar journeys
✅ Support one another through shared experiences and open conversation

Volunteer Week 2026! 💚

From the 1st to the 7th of June, volunteer week is a great opportunity for organisations to recognise and appreciate the people who give up their time to support others, and make a difference in their communities.

At We Too!, we try to show appreciation to our Ninjas not just during one week, but all year round — because our volunteers deserve to feel valued every single day.

⭐Ninja Carrie will be discussing, what it is, what its isn't, how it can present, how to recognise burnout 🔥 in your young person, and crucially, what we can so to support our young people, and ourselves, throughout the experience of burnout. ⭐

⭐Carrie will be calling upon her own lived in experience, that other family members and sign posting to professional information sources, she has personally found helpful 💡 🙂
