Hi everyone,
We're reaching out to ask for your help to keep Girlguiding thriving in Inverbervie and St Cyrus.
Our district is hoping to grow and strengthen the opportunities we offer local girls, but we're currently short of adult volunteers. Without additional support, some of our units are at risk, and we want to do everything we can to keep Guiding available for girls in our community.
We're looking for around **3–4 additional volunteers** to help us continue and grow our local units.
⭐ **Unit Helpers for Rainbows and Brownies**
This is a low-pressure role, requiring a commitment of just one meeting a week (around 60–90 minutes). You'll help girls take part in activities and support the leadership team. There is no expectation to plan, lead or run activities – think of it as being a parent helper who comes along regularly.
⭐ **Support for our Guide unit**
We're hoping to reopen our Guide unit after the summer, but we need more adults to make this possible. You could help as a Unit Helper, or if you'd like to learn new skills and become more involved, there is the opportunity to explore a leadership role. You would be fully supported by experienced leaders every step of the way.
No experience is needed for any role, and all training and support are provided. You don't need to commit straight away either – you're welcome to come along on a trial basis to see what it's like before deciding if it's for you.
Whether you've volunteered before or not, if you can spare a little time each week, we'd love to hear from you.
If you'd like to find out more or have a no-obligation chat, please reply to this message or contact me directly.
By volunteering, you'll help girls build confidence, make friends, learn new skills and experience everything Girlguiding has to offer.
Thank you for your support. If you know anyone who might like this role tag them below!
