Skateboarding is back baby!

We're delighted to have Coach Zander back with us this summer providing a whole heap of skateboarding opportunities for you.

A few changes for this summer -thanks to our awesome neighbours at Banchory Christian Fellowship Church, all Get Rolling classes will be delivered in their closed off carpark away from the crowds of the skatepark allowing more space to practice. AND add in our new skate ramps and you're sure to be up and rolling in no time. Improvers and Private Lessons will continue to be delivered at Banchory Skate park.

We love being part of an amazing community!

A MASSIVE shout out and a HUGE thank you to the Crafty Quines who have knitted these amazing props for us to use with our early years classes. They're AMAZING! Our personal are the Orange (complete with moustache), the tatties and the beetroots.

As always we have lots going on but there is definitely a theme to our week, and that is community!!

This morning Coach Katy and Coach Isla are at Finzean School delivering Introduction to Parkour sessions as part of their Health Week.

On Saturday we return to Hill of Banchory Primary School for their 10th annual HOB Fun Run with our Spin the Wheel challenges.

Last night we were delighted to share plans about the future of The Movement Bothy, plans for 2.0 and our move towards becoming a charity, with some of our fabulous community. If anyone couldn't make it along last night, are keen to get involved and would like a copy of the presentation please get in touch. (Thanks to Leys Estate for letting us use the Banchory Business Centre conference room)

Time for something a little different.

As part of our commitment to supporting the growth and development of young people in our community, we are piloting a new programme designed to support youth led activities.

Our aim is to listen to young people in the community and work together with them to deliver activities and opportunities for those in P7 and above.

We are kicking this off with our first ever GLOW Christmas Party! Open to all in P7-S6 - whether you're a Movement Bothy Member or not, all our welcome to celebrate Christmas and the end of the school year with a little less sparkle and a little more glow!
