Today we did Laughter Yoga at the Canolfan Cwmaman C C with our memory cafe.
Nobody including me knew what to expect. Everyone enjoyed themselves
Laughter yoga has been proven to be beneficial to physical and mental health wellbeing across the world. From my perspective having worked alongside people experiencing depression, stress and anxiety for 40 years I could see laughter yoga helping people, allowing them to smile and to laugh together. Depression is incredibly isolating and only minimum effort is required to participate. A natural antidepressant.
I can do more sessions if there’s enough interest ?
