Meeting with RCT update.

At present we have not set a date, due to Laura and Tina unable to find available from with themselves.

A letter has been sent with a number of proposals to consider helping both Students and council.

🎉Our meeting with the Welsh Government on Monday, August 17th, was productive.

They have received all our data and acknowledge that the current Learner Travel Measure is outdated.📊📈

In collaboration with them, they plan to unite parents, students, and various campaigns into a single entity known as a Learner Network.

Your participation is crucial to this initiative.

👀 We require your insights and ideas on how to effectively implement this guidance in your specific area. Given that each region of Wales is unique, topographical considerations, for instance, are an important aspect to address.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

🚌 Even if you are not currently part of a campaign in your area, any information you could provide to contribute to our collective input would be highly valuable.

We have been informed that until 2030 you will be able to pay for spare seats.

They applied for an extension from the UK Government due to the PSVAR.

Applications are open and there is very limited availability.

So sorry we know we are quieter than usual.

Its now only 2 of us Tina and Laura. We are both working so finding time is hard to post things.

The meetings this week were positive and next is the meeting on Monday with the Deputy Transport Minister of Wales and the Integrated transport. Hopefully, this will put all your signatures on the petition to use and start the updates on the Learner Travel Measure.

On Tuesday Cllr Karl Johnson - Llantwit Fardre & Efail Isaf is holding a meeting. If your in that area please go. Details are in one of the recent posts.
