It is with sadness that we will unfortunately have to remove our wonderful animated reindeer from the Christmas tree in our beautiful market. The reindeer cost almost £800 and a group of senseless idiots from ACS (they were all in uniform) have decided that it’s perfectly acceptable to jump over (and damage) the fence, then jump on the reindeer (causing damage to the mechanics) to have a photo taken as part of some idiotic prank.
The market tenants work tirelessly to raise funds to make Aberdare Market a beautiful place to visit over the Christmas period and these children believe that it’s perfectly acceptable to ruin other people’s enjoyment and appreciation of the efforts made by the traders.
Fortunately, the three times you have jumped the fence have all been recorded on CCTV, faces have been identified and evidence sent to appropriate agencies. Please don’t comment that kids will be kids - it is criminal damage.
I am beyond furious.
