On the sixth day of the training, participants collaborated to design a collective booklet showcasing their green initiatives, serving as both a resource and a source of inspiration for others. This booklet reflected their shared knowledge, creativity, and commitment to sustainable youth work.
They also took part in networking activities designed to spark meaningful conversations and explore potential project ideas through small group discussions. These exchanges fostered deeper connections and encouraged future collaborations among youth workers from different countries.
To conclude the day, participants completed a post-training questionnaire aimed at evaluating the development of their environmental competencies and assessing the overall effectiveness of the project experience.

During the fourth and fifth days of the training course, participants focused on integrating sustainability into youth work and building impactful outreach strategies. They began by identifying eco-friendly practices suitable for daily operations within youth organizations. They were introduced to the key principles of workshop design, facilitation techniques, and evaluation strategies. Using this knowledge, they developed and presented their own workshops addressing environmental or social issues, incorporating green methods into every step of their design.
The following day, participants were trained on the core elements of developing effective awareness campaigns. This included crafting impactful messages, identifying target audiences, selecting communication channels, and creating visually compelling campaign materials.
In addition, they explored how to design meaningful and sustainable community service projects aimed at young people, with a focus on generating long-term environmental and social impact. The sessions encouraged creativity, strategic thinking, and the practical communication skills necessary for powerful community engagement and youth empowerment.

On the third day of the Erasmus+ training course organized by Mirage France, youth workers learned how to create DIY composting kits in small groups, gaining hands-on experience in sustainable waste management. Later, they engaged in a fun and interactive game that raised awareness about water conservation and encouraged making sustainable choices in daily life.
Participants then worked on presentations focusing on eco-friendly product selection strategies, supporting local and sustainable suppliers, and reducing packaging waste in youth activities. Finally, they discussed the importance of sustainable transportation and collaboratively developed creative and practical sustainable transport solutions.

As part of the Erasmus+ Training Course 2024-1-FR02-KA153-YOU-000236867, 24 youth workers participated from France, Spain, Serbia, Turkey, Hungary, and Latvia. On the first day of the Erasmus+ training course led by Mirage France, participants engaged in dynamic activities to build community and deepen their understanding of ecological skills. They started by learning each other’s names paired with an environmentally friendly action beginning with the same letter, fostering connection and environmental awareness.
In another interactive game, participants guessed environmental terms shared by their peers, using non-formal group facilitation methods to encourage active learning. They also shared personal eco-actions linked to their names to strengthen collaboration and community spirit.
Trust and communication were key in a paired activity where one participant guided the other, blindfolded, during a walk—highlighting the importance of mutual reliance. Small teams of six then tackled ecological challenges within set timeframes, promoting creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving related to environmental issues.
The group reviewed project topics, Erasmus+ program details, Youthpass, and daily learning journals. Finally, participants reflected on their expectations, contributions, and concerns about the course, co-created environmentally respectful rules and guidelines for sustainable youth exchanges, and assessed their ecological competencies.
