DIWA did not begin as a collective.

In 2025, it started with a group of artists 🧑‍🎨 who believed in an idea 💡 and decided to be part of it. 🎨✨

Each one brought something different: their art, their trust, their time, their energy, and helped turn an idea into something real.💕

This video is our little way of looking back and saying thank you to the artists who were there at the beginning and helped shape what DIWA is becoming today 🧵🌏

Meet the women behind DIWA. ✨

What began as a shared exhibition project slowly grew into something bigger: a space for Filipino 🇵🇭 artists, creative exchange, and cultural dialogue in Paris. 🎨🌏

Leslie Farol Aranas shapes the collective vision and community behind DIWA, while Sheelah Chu leads its creative direction, concepts, and ex*****on.

Together, they aspire to create thoughtful opportunities for Filipino creatives to be seen, heard, and connected across borders. 🧵

DIWA Collective — “Diverse Identities Woven through Art” — is a Filipino-led cultural collective based in Paris, dedicated to visual arts, cross-cultural dialogue, and meaningful artistic encounters.

Born from a desire to create bridges between cultures, perspectives, and creative voices, DIWA brings together artists🎨, stories, identities, and experiences through curated exhibitions and cultural initiatives.

We aspire to contribute to the growing visibility of Filipino creatives by creating thoughtful platforms for artistic expression, collaboration, and international 🌏 cultural exchange.

Rooted in Filipino creativity and open to the world, we believe art can create spaces for reflection, connection, and conversation beyond borders.
