RPE helps foreign would-be entrepreneurs start-up their businesses in the French region of the Limousin by offering them accomodation and an accompagnement

The association RPE works to encourage the economic development of the French region of Limousin by the promotion of entrepreneurial activites in rural areas of the region. In order to accomplish this, RPE has two main activities:

Firstly, we welcome would-be entrepreneurs to the region by offering them and their family accommodation. RPE offers a house with garden and a communal working area in

the charming countryside village of Meyrignac l’Eglise, situated on the Plateau de Millevaches, for a maximum period of 2 years. This period offers a first experience to all the family of what living and working in the Limousin coutryside is like. It is a very important part of the installation process as it enables direct evalution of the feasibility of the project; both on a personal and professional level. Secondly, we offer of a ‘referential accompagnement’ in the efforts to get to know the region and how it functions as well as who to contact for what. Without such an accompagnement, the installation process can take much longer, therefore impacting the time taken to start a business and its success.
