Day 2 + 3 for the WeRepair for Youth !

teenagers are really engaged in fixing stuff but also developing their own project.

Florian from Hackerspace Bamberg 🇩🇪 is helping them to make things done. supported also by our members.

We also take this opportunity to thank le fond citoyens franco that allowed us for a couple of years to support our wishes to bridge Mountain Makers to Germans Makerspaces.

Now we are supported by Erasmus+ to push forward even more exchanges like this one. So yes, if you read us, thanks FCFA for helping us make a first step 🪜

for Youth - France with (MM)

Day 1 - Florian from Hackerspace Bamberg 🇩🇪 joined MM for a week to share his repair' skills and experience with young makers for 5 days. Florian is surrounded by a group of volunteers of our community. Quite a nice experience of knowledge exchange mixing culture and languages like german, french and english.

We also take this opportunity to thank that allowed us for a couple of years to support our wishes to bridge Mountain Makers to Germans Makerspaces.

[RESIDENCY OPPORTUNITY]

Hi international Makers !

In the framework of an Erasmus+ KA2, my makerspace (Mountain Makers) is going to support 1 maker for 1 week residency between 14 to 21 February.

- The mission : Helping our staff to train youth to better learn how to use the FabLab (Training Laser, 3D, CAO, Electronics, textile, craft, ...) it's very flexible.

- Total 8 youths between 10 and 16 years old will be trained between the 16 and 20 of February.

- Travel cost, accommodation and food covered by our makerspace.

Note : We're ok if you want to stay longer (arrive before and / or leave later) and enjoy the rural part of France over winter.

Notre prochaine journée d'ouverture sera Samedi 31 Janvier. Vous pouvez d'ailleurs noter dans votre agenda que chaque dernier samedi de chaque mois l'asso sera ouverte à Manzat pour vous accueillir, faire Repair'café, café IA, échanger sur vos projets perso et pro mais aussi aborder des questions de vie associative, de gouvernance partagée et de résilience sur nos territoires.

En 2026, Makers des Montagnes est toujours un atelier partagé incluant des résidences internationales. Mais s’intéresse de plus en plus à la place du citoyen dans un ensemble plus vaste.

Voyez donc Makers des Montagnes comme un espace de réflexion et d'échange sur ces sujets de fond pour questionner nos modèles de vie, de gouvernance, de gestion de conflits et de manières de faire ensemble.

Aujourd'hui ensemble pour approuver le bilan de l'année passée et voter les grandes orientations des années à venir.
