Mimosa Matters Mimosa was set up as a “kitchen-table charity” on the Riviera nine years ago by a team of nine women who have all seen Cancer close up.

Mimosa is an association of general interest, dedicated to the promotion of cancer prevention, awareness and education through the creation and support of cancer-related projects in the South of France. Our collective experience of the illness indirectly through seeing friends and family suffer gave us a simple shared desire – to help make a difference. From different parts of the UK and Europe, w

e have all chosen to base ourselves in the South of France, and felt it was important to give back to the local community that has embraced us. We are by no means experts but we have heart and conviction and have pooled our combined talents to dedicate ourselves to raising funds for local cancer associations and individuals.

To all our incredible Mini Mimosa runners, a huge thank you for taking part on Sunday and helping raise an amazing amount of money to support children with cancer in our region.
A heartfelt thank you to all our sponsors, partners, volunteers, with a special shout-out to our incredible student volunteers, and the wider community whose generosity and energy made Mini Mimosa so special. Your support brings this day to life and truly shows that Mimosa is a community against cancer. Together, we have helped bring smiles to the faces of children bravely battling cancer in the 06, while supporting the vital frontline work carried out in hospitals thanks to Dessine-moi la High-Tech and La Ligue contre le cancer 06.

🏃Today was truly special.💛
Over 350 children, aged 5–15, ran in Mini Mimosa across three distances—all to support children with cancer in our region.
It was a morning full of joy, generosity and hope.
From the fun activities to the incredible energy on the course, this was community spirit at its very best.

🙏A huge thank you to our sponsors, partners, volunteers, service providers, donors and of course the children and their families—you made this day what it was.

🥳Together, we have already raised over €11,000, with more still coming in from sponsorship.
