A Page for Communication on Reformed Baptist Missions and Church Planting

Reformed Baptist Network is a new effort for encouraging cooperation and communication among Reformed Baptists in North America and around the world. A Founding Conference was held in November 2016 where 26 Charter churches joined together to form the new Network.

Please pray for RBNet Pastor Jeff Black in Halsey, OR, Harvest Reformed Baptist Church, who a while back wrote:

“I had an expedited colonoscopy at the Eugene VA Clinic. The GI doctor said he's never seen a case as bad as mine in 25 years of practice. He diagnosed it as severe ulcerative colitis with a suspicion that it might be pancolitis - the worst of the UCs. I just started prednisone & will be starting IV infusions of Entyvio in the next 2-3 weeks. The recovery time, as the Lord wills it, is somewhere in the ballpark of 12-14 weeks. The hope is to save the colon thru repair & finally remission…. I am in the Lord's hands & have never felt Him nearer…. However things should fall out in the future, I am in the best possible place in my Savior's providential care. Without Him, I could do nothing & I would be nothing. Praise Jehovah for an everlasting salvation, free of pain & suffering, thru our Lord Jesus Christ!”

GET MARRIED! HAVE BABIES! JOIN A CHURCH! 20 years ago, Lael & pregnant Amy Bryant departed Harbor Church in Holland to return back to Canton, MI after 3 newlywed years in West Michigan. Got to have dinner with their fruitful family this week near Ann Arbor. No greater joy than to see one’s children thriving in the faith! So sweet!

Joel Beeke’s summary conclusion regarding assurance of salvation, p284f:
“The message that emerges from our studies is this: Assurange is the cream of faith. It is inseparable from each exercise of faith.

Assurance grows
by faith in the promises of God,
by inward evidence of grace, and
by the witness of the Spirit.

Each of these kinds of assurance should be diligently prayed for and pursued; none should be séparated from the others for undue emphasis on one will lead to a distortion of others. For each the believer is dependent ultimately upon the application of the Holy Spirit. Salvation and assurance are “of the Lord” (Jonah 2:9).”
