📢 VUCI COMMUNITY OUTREACH – POSTPONED

Please be advised that our community outreach planned for tomorrow, Saturday 29 August, at Vuci Village, Tokatoka, Tailevu, has been postponed.

We apologise for the late notice and any inconvenience this may cause, particularly to our volunteers and community members who had planned to join us.

Our team is working on arrangements for another outreach activity, and we will share further details once confirmed.

🩸 Are you in the Nasinu or Nakasi area this weekend?

The Fiji Red Cross Society - Suva Branch, together with the National Blood Service, invites you to drop by one of our community blood drives and help save lives.

Whether you're a regular donor, considering donating for the first time, or simply want to learn more about the donation process, our volunteers and the National Blood Service team will be there to answer your questions and guide you every step of the way.

🩸 This is a big step forward for blood donation in Fiji.

The Fiji Blood App is now available on the Google Play Store, with the Apple App Store version coming soon.

Our Suva Branch volunteers see firsthand the incredible generosity of people who come forward to donate blood at community blood drives. This new app will make it even easier to register as a donor, receive notifications when your blood type is needed, and find upcoming blood drives near you.

We’re proud of the continued partnership between the Ministry of Health and Medical Services’ National Blood Service and the Fiji Red Cross Society. Together, with the support of volunteers across the country, we’re helping ensure lifesaving blood is available when patients need it most.

Download the Fiji Blood App today, register as a donor, and keep an eye out for future blood drives across the Suva Branch area.

🩸 One of the best parts of our recent blood drives has been meeting so many members of the public who have stopped by to donate blood or simply learn more about becoming a donor.

From first-time donors to regular donors, young and old alike, thank you for your enthusiasm, your questions, and your willingness to help others. Every conversation and every donation makes a difference.

Today, our Fiji Red Cross Society - Suva Branch volunteers will be at Rups Mega, Nakasi from 9:00am to 12:30pm supporting the National Blood Service.

If you're doing your shopping, grabbing a coffee, or just passing through, come and say hello. Better yet, consider donating blood and helping save lives.

There are just two hours left to donate blood at the Blood Drive currently underway at Nasinu Town Council.

We encourage members of the public to come through and donate blood before 2pm today. If you are unable to make it to Damodar City, donations can also be made at the National Blood Service at CWM Hospital.
