Fiji Rucksack Club The Rucksack Club is a great way to meet new friends, learn about Fiji and explore stunning nature. It's easy to organise a trip!

The Rucksack Club has been active since 1963 and relies on its dedicated volunteers to continue to promote and encourage outdoor activities in Fiji. As a Suva-based volunteer organisation we aim to;
• Promote and encourage outdoor activities, such as hiking, climbing, camping, cycling and other activities as well as cultural tours in Fiji.
• Foster and develop a greater knowledge and appreciation

of the Fijian natural environment and culture.
• Promote social interactions and the physical health and wellbeing of members. How to join the Rucksack Club and trips:

Step 1: Become a member by signing the Fiji Rucksack Club Membership and Waiver Form 2025 https://forms.gle/NTaVjeKGiuraZpEM8

Step 2: Keep an eye on this page as all activities will be advertised as events. Step 3: Register your interest for an activity using the Google Form on the Facebook event

Step 4: Turn up and have a great time!!! If you have a good idea and the motivation to run a trip but need some help, the Rucksack Buddy System can connect you with an experienced trip organiser. Buddy up and meet new friends whilst exploring Fiji. Vinaka

Bula Rucksackers! In this inclement weather there is something to look back on and cherish: 18 Rucksakers just returned from an unforgettable long weekend in Namara, Kadavu—and what a journey it was! 🎒✨

This marked the Rucksack Club’s first-ever visit to the beautiful island of Kadavu, and we certainly made it count. From breathtaking views to heartfelt connections, our members truly immersed themselves in the local community, supporting both the Namara Women’s Club and the Youth Club. 🤝❤️

A massive Vinaka vakalevu to everyone who joined us and to the village for welcoming us with open arms. You made this a trip for the history books! 📖🙌
